This New Music Video Gives Me a Headache

I love music because it transcends the need for words. Nevertheless I fail to see what is so appealing about new music videos. While I can admit that new music videos by talented artists who take their craft seriously are great, others aren’t. It seems to me that many new music videos are of substandard quality when you compare them to older offerings. These days the music industry seems more about profit than talent and this is never more obvious than when you search through new music videos on a site like You Tube trying to find something good. It’s a bit like searching for a needle in a stack of hay.
I watched a new music video today that was so terrible it made me want to puke. I’m talking about the video for the song Lets Do It by Jowell y Randy. I can’t believe people actually go out and buy this commercial crap. Please take the time to watch this new music video, which I have posted above. Do you like it? Does the fact that I find this new music video highly irritating mean that I’m getting old? Quite frankly it gives me a headache. Too many of today’s new music videos are more of a pain than a pleasure for me.
